Grandparents are like relics. Ancient artifacts that tell a story about a time before our own. They have experienced life in a different climate. They know more about the past than we do and have better foresight of the future. They are better at interpreting the energies and are great at giving insights.

They are self-aware and usually calm and humble. Their temperament is a skill we should all aim to master. Their patience and love for the simpler things in life are character traits acquired through many lessons learned. Their tenured wisdom is a stepping stone and building block to the next stage of evolution.

I am aware that not all grandparents are the same. I am also aware they all have not had the same experiences or the same life. Yet, there is something they all have in common, their age. Time. Many years of revolving around the sun. After many years they, have acquired an advantageous vantage point, of seeing the world and the human race for what it is.

If you have a grandparent/grandparents that are still alive, that has nurtured and loved you and your parents, you are what I would call lucky. You are blessed. I encourage you to love them, give back some of the time and nurture that they passed on to you. Have conversations with them. Ask them as…
